Nicole Ari Parker was born in New York City. Nicole Ari Parker is an American actor in stage and films. Contractor Born from Mumbai in India, was raised in Nigeria through the age of seven. She had already experienced numerous travel experiences and different cultures at a very young age. Her education was at the boarding school of London between 7 and 9. Then, the family moved to London and moved to Toronto, Canada. Contractor was an outstanding student in Toronto and was trained as the classical ballet dancer. She was a student at the Etobicoke School of the Arts in Toronto, a school of the arts focused on theater and dance. At 16 after a decade of years of dance Contractor discovered she was looking to study acting professionally. After she had completed her high school education, she was awarded an all-inclusive scholarship to the University of Toronto. At the University of Toronto she completed the Master of Arts in Theatre. She was also a double major in Psychology and Sociology. Following a year at University, Contractor went to an open call audition for the show Pericles at the world-class, world-renowned Stratford Shakespeare Festival [Ontario, Canada and landed the lead role. The play received rave reviews and her performances in the 92 shows performed the play was voted the production of the year by Canadian reviewers in 2002. Contractor was offered the opportunity to take part in the conservatory course, in which a select eight men and four females are selected to take a crash course of 20 weeks on classical theater which she was eager to take.
